We are looking for caring and devoted Support Workers to help people in a variety of settings, such as assisted living, nursing homes, and home care. The job includes helping clients with their everyday tasks, keeping them safe, and encouraging them to be independent. Duties

Abilities

Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or caring for people at home

Knowledge about how to take care of patients, such as how to give them medicine and how to deal with their behaviour

Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and how to care for seniors

Ability to safely move big things and help with mobility demands

Strong caregiving abilities and a kind attitude towards customers of all ages

Great communication skills for talking to clients, their families, and team members

It helps to have a basic first aid certification.

A valid driver’s license is needed to drive clients or perform errands quickly.

Organised and able to handle many tasks calmly when things get tough
