Description

• Establish and maintain reliability standards across ElevenLabs’ platforms.
• Design and manage disaster recovery programmes, define recovery targets, and conduct regular testing.
• Define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) with each product team.
• Develop tools to monitor and track SLAs and SLOs by product and customer.
• Oversee incident detection, response, investigation, and learning.
• Design alerting systems, incident management processes, post-mortems, and on-call procedures.
• Develop AI-assisted investigation and automatic resolution systems, including agent-led diagnosis and automated remediation.
• Collaborate with product teams to build resilient architectures and scalable engineering practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing production systems at scale as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), infrastructure engineer, or in a similar role.
• Proven track record of measurably improving system reliability.
• Strong background in backend development.
• Experience solving reliability challenges through coding and automation.
• Experience managing incident response, on-call duties, and post-mortems.
• Ability to drive corrective actions through to completion.
• Experience with observability tools and alerting systems.
• Experience defining and monitoring SLOs or SLAs.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is preferred.
