Overview of the Job:
In order to provide compassionate care for senior citizens in their homes, we are seeking committed Senior/Care Workers to join our team. We are hiring for the following positions: the London Borough of Richmond, the London Borough of Ealing, Surrey County Council, and Slough Borough Council. In order to ensure the residents’ comfort and well-being, the duty entails overseeing and helping them with everyday tasks and personal care. You must be a proficient communicator both in writing and speaking, possess a valid UK driver’s licence, and have prior experience working in the care industry.
Responsibilities:
- To guide the service’s carers (for Senior Care Workers)
- To deliver care under the manager’s guidance in compliance with current best practices, policy and procedure, established standards, legal requirements, and pertinent legislation.
- Oversee and assist residents with personal care duties.
- Encourage the provision of superior care services
- Make use of IT systems for reporting and documentation.
- Effectively communicate with residents, relatives, and medical staff
Skills:
- It is necessary to have prior experience working as a senior care provider or in a similar capacity.
- Capacity to effectively manage and lead a team
- Excellent communication abilities to engage with coworkers and residents
- IT expertise for documentation purposes
- Genuine concern for the older citizens and a compassionate disposition
Type of Work: Full-Time Pay: Starting at £14.00 per hour
