Key Job Responsibilities (Salon Manager UK)

• Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring seamless and efficient working of all departments.

• Manage and inspire a staff of stylists, barbers, and beauty specialists through mentoring and performance assessments.

• Organise appointments at the front desk to guarantee top-notch client happiness and customer service.

• Implement upselling methods to promote additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and retail merchandise.

• Maintain excellent standards of sanitation, hygiene, and safeguarding within the salon area.

• Organise staff schedules to optimise coverage during peak hours while ensuring work-life balance for team members.

• Professionally respond to customer questions, addressing any issues as soon as possible to promote loyalty.

• Assist in training new staff members to uphold the salon’s standards of service excellence.

• Encourage a friendly environment that promotes great ratings and repeat business.

Experience & Skills Required (Salon Manager UK)

• Proven expertise in store management within the beauty or grooming business.

• A strong background in barbering or similar hairdressing services is highly desirable.

• Outstanding customer service abilities and the capacity to interact with clients and colleagues in an efficient manner.

• Experience managing reservations, payments, and customer enquiries while working at the front desk.

• Demonstrated mentoring abilities to enhance staff growth and team cohesion.

• Knowledge of specific treatments such as eyelash extensions and cosmetics application is advantageous.

• Skilled at upselling retail products and supplementary services to boost revenue streams.
