To join our team, we are looking for a committed and amiable Counter Assistant. In addition to helping with patient care and medication administration, the ideal applicant will be essential in delivering first-rate customer service. A proactive person who can work well under pressure is needed for this role, making sure that every customer’s demands are handled with tact and consideration.
Duties
- Warmly greet clients and answer their questions about prescription drugs and services.
- Handle prescriptions precisely and effectively while making sure all rules are followed.
- Patients should be informed about how to take their medications, any adverse effects, and storage needs.
- Help maintain medicine and supply inventories, making sure the counter is adequately stocked.
- Keep the counter space neat and orderly to encourage a friendly atmosphere for patients.
- To guarantee the best possible care for patients, work together with chemists and other medical specialists.
- Manage transactions and keep thorough records of all conversations with customers and sales.
Experience
- It is very beneficial to have prior pharmacy technician experience.
- It helps to be familiar with how medications are administered.
- Having experience in patient care will help us give our clients outstanding service.
- Effective interactions with clients and coworkers require strong verbal and written communication abilities.
