EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

Essential

• MSC or BSc Audiology or MTO: BAAT I & II, BTEC MPPM or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification NHS Clinical experience
• HPC or RCCP Registered

EXPERIENCE

Essential

• Assessment, fitting & verification of hearing aids in adults
• Assessment, fitting & verification of digital hearing aids
• Experience of diagnosis and paediatric fitting and verification
• Experience of MHAS and MCHAS implementation

Desirable

• Undertakes vestibular & electrophysiological assessment and act appropriately on findings
• Teaching junior and trainee staff

SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE

Essential

• Excellent communication
• Excellent organisational skills
• Able to work as a member of a team and autonomously
• Motivated and committed

Desirable

• Proficient with sign language
• Keyboard skills
• Teaching skills
