Joining us at Elstow Manor, our luxury care home that provides residential, dementia, and nursing care for older people, you’ll be part of a team that is genuinely passionate about the health and well-being of our residents.

Our Housekeeping team ensures the supply of both clean laundry and housekeeping service throughout the home and contributes to the provision of cleaning, laundry, and domestic services to the home.

What you’ll be doing

• To ensure the supply of both clean laundry and housekeeping service throughout the home, and to contribute to the provision of cleaning, laundry, and domestic services to the home.
• Ensuring all areas of the care home are clean, hygienic, and well-maintained, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms.
• Handling laundry and linen care with attention to residents’ personal belongings.
• Interacting with residents, offering assistance when needed to help them feel at ease.
• Maintaining housekeeping supplies and reporting any shortages to the manager.
• Working closely with caregivers and other staff to support the overall care plan and home operations.

• Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting
• Flexible and reliable attitude
• Committed to customer care and first-class service provision
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations
• Empathy and a desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and work on one’s own initiative in a fast-paced environment
