Job Overview

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) is recruiting Store Keepers/Drivers to join its Health Courier Service based in Cardiff, delivering essential clinical logistics and medical transport services across South Wales.

This vital NHS service handles:

• 120,000+ mail and medical notes weekly

• Over 5 million annual movements of pathology samples & blood products

• Secure distribution of NHS supplies across hospitals, GP practices, pharmacies, dentists & opticians

Our core services run Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm, with limited 24/7 operations.

Key Responsibilities: Health Courier Services Store Keeper/Driver

As a Health Courier Service Driver/Storekeeper, your role includes:

• Safe, secure transportation of NHS pathology samples, blood/blood products, and medical records

• Distribution & replenishment of NHS stock, including medical consumables (needles, syringes, containers)

• Handling secure and non-secure stationery, laundry, records & mail

• Supporting primary healthcare sites throughout NHS Wales

• Compliance with ADR, Good Manufacturing Practice, and NHS safety standards

Welsh language skills are desirable. Both Welsh and English speakers are welcome to apply.
