Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant to join our Adult Community Mental Health Services Team in Stevenage.
The area is well served with transport links to historic Hertfordshire and its glorious countryside, as well as into London and beyond. We are looking for someone passionate about delivering care to Adults with mental health issues.

Qualifications
Essential
- Commitment to Continuing Personal Development
Desirable
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification or Mental Health Certificate Level 3, or agreement to undertake such training as soon as resources permit
Experience
Essential
- Experience of providing mental health services from within a Team setting, which may be combined with personal lived experience of mental health difficulties
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Essential
- Basic written communication skills
- Good verbal communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
- Ability to create innovative solutions to help empower Service Users
Desirable
- Venipuncture trained (or willing to be trained)
- Basic First-Aid skills
