Job Posting – Midwifery and Nursing

A position in the Forth Valley Radiology Department between Forth Valley Royal Hospital and Stirling Health & Care Village is now available for highly motivated, experienced clinical support workers.

In addition to general X-rays, ultrasounds, mammograms, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology, and DXA scanning, the Radiology Department offers the local public high-quality, effective, and efficient radiology services. In radiology, the Clinical Support Worker position is essential to the efficient operation of every modality and to delivering the high calibre of patient care required in NHS FV. This position rotates across all of the aforementioned modalities, and working in all of the areas will help you develop a variety of talents. The variety of areas will be reflected in your roster, and complete participation in each area is anticipated.

The primary skill for this position is cannulation, which candidates will be trained to perform. As a member of each multidisciplinary team, you will provide care under the direct and indirect supervision of numerous imaging specialists, including sonographers, staff nurses, radiologists, and clinical technologists. Basic IT skills and prior experience working in a clinical healthcare setting are prerequisites.

If successful, all necessary training will be provided locally. We need applicants who are completely adaptable and have a positive teamwork attitude because we offer prospects for growth.

Working Hours Update

The Agenda for Change full-time working week will drop from 37 to 36 hours starting on 1/4/26. There will be a pro rata reduction in part-time hours. To ensure that pay is unaffected, there will be a matching rise in the hourly rate.
