Overview of the Job

We are looking to add a committed and trustworthy Cleaner/Domestic Assistant to our team. The ideal applicant will be in charge of upholding hygienic conditions in a variety of locations, including the Care Home’s commercial areas. This position calls for meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the capacity to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a friendly atmosphere for all visitors and employees.

Tasks

• Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitise surfaces as you thoroughly clean the designated areas.
• Make sure you use all cleaning materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Notify the proper staff of any maintenance problems or safety risks.
• When necessary, help set up spaces for events or meetings.
• Respond quickly to residents’ comments about cleanliness in order to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Work together with teammates to maintain high standards of cleanliness and effective workflow.
• Respect health and safety laws and specified cleaning procedures.

Competencies

• It is strongly preferred if you have prior experience cleaning commercial spaces or care homes.
• Excellent customer service abilities and the capacity to engage constructively with both visitors and coworkers.
• The capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively.
• strong time management abilities and the capacity to set priorities.
• While not necessary, having some basic cooking abilities would be beneficial.
• meticulousness and a dedication to upholding strict hygiene standards.
