Care Assistant – UK Sponsorship Visa

Join our multi-award-winning team and be a part of our family-based business, which very much has our carers at the heart of all we do. We are looking for Homecare Assistants who are loving and sensitive and are already in the UK and looking for Sponsorship.

We are situated in Derbyshire with branches in Ilkeston, Long Eaton and Ripley.

We are currently assessing applications and pre-screening individuals who are shortlisted; however, we are not conducting second-round interviews for sponsorship candidates at this time. Main duties

• To provide high-level care and support to people living in their own home
• Help clients with bathing, grooming, dressing
• Grocery shopping, laundry, and other home chores
• Making and serving meals at the correct times
• Arranging and dispensing medicines
• Work with other health and social care providers to give the best care possible
• Completing accurate, complete, and truthful visit notes.

Skills, Knowledge and Know-How

• At least 1 year of experience in taking care of others
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own car or UK Driving Licence and access to a motorbike or Moped
• Geographic Reference
• Empathy in the workplace
• Good listening skills
• Team player
• Positive approach to work and coworkers
• Leading by example, both in the community and with one another.

• Full-time rota schedule – minimum 37.5 guaranteed hours per week.
• On this contract, you will be doing a mixture of morning, lunch, tea, and bed calls every day
• Competitive pay rates: £13.40 per hour (weekdays and weekends)+ £2.10 per house visited
