We’re looking for a hands-on, organised, and reliable Warehouse and Facilities Coordinator to take ownership of our Steeton site — keeping it running smoothly, stocked, compliant, and customer-ready.
You’ll report to the Compliance Manager and take sole ownership of warehouse operations, stock and asset management, logistics, and facilities at our Steeton HQ. This is a part-time, permanent role working 25 hours per week.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their environment, acts without being asked, and wants a varied, permanent role where they can make a real difference to how the business operates day to day.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse, Stock, and Asset Management
- Manage all goods in and goods out activity at Steeton, including receiving, checking, and storing deliveries
- Prepare and package items for shipment; book couriers and coordinate outbound logistics
- Maintain the asset database and monitor stock levels, ensuring kit is prepared and ready ahead of engineer deployments
- Conduct periodic stock and asset audits to maintain 100% reconciliation
Facilities, Compliance, and Safety
- Manage the upkeep and presentation of the Steeton site, including routine inspections, meeting room preparation, and proactive identification of improvements
- Arrange and track scheduled servicing with third-party suppliers (A/C, boiler, alarms, PAT testing, fire extinguishers); manage vehicle maintenance
- Manage waste disposal (WEEE, carrier transfer notes), site access, building inductions, and emergency preparedness
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, stock management, or facilities coordination role
- Practical and hands-on, with a proactive approach to building and office upkeep — someone who takes pride in the space and acts without being asked
- Full, clean UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Able to obtain SC and NPPV3 security clearance (arranged upon appointment)
Desirable
- Familiarity with asset tracking or stock management systems
- Experience with facilities compliance (PAT testing, fire safety, WEEE) and coordinating third-party contractors
- IOSH, H&S awareness, or IPAF qualifications; previous experience in an IT services or managed services environment
