MKT Solution Limited. We are looking for a caring and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Angus Council. They must also be able to drive.

The post can be open to sponsorship. We are a recently registered care at home and home support service, and we are searching for someone to join our team. The job will start as an agency job and then move on to a permanent one.

You would have the chance to move up in your career with the company. The best candidate will help people who need it, such as those in senior care, hospice care, home care, and live-in support. To help clients with their daily tasks, taking their medications, and personal care, this job requires a compassionate and understanding attitude. The Support Worker will be very important in making the lives of the people they help better.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily tasks like washing, clothing, and grooming, as well as personal care.
• Give medications as directed and make sure that care plans are followed.
• Help clients move around and do physical activities, making sure they are always safe.
• Help with cooking and nutrition support that is specific to each person’s dietary needs.
• Get clients involved in social and fun activities to help their mental health.
• Keep accurate records of how your clients are doing and tell the right people if their health or conduct changes.
• Give clients emotional support and company to help them build trust with you.
• Take customers to appointments or social events when needed.

Skills

• A lot of experience caring for patients, especially in nursing homes or senior care settings.
• Knowledge of and experience with giving medications and the rules that go with it.
• It is quite helpful to know how to care for people with dementia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage well with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Ability to work quickly and well on your own and with others.
• Patience, understanding, and a real desire to assist other people to live better lives.
• It is best to have a valid driver’s license if you need to drive clients about.
