Experience

Essential

• Knowledge of Networking / Servers, Web hosting, e.g.: Unix, Linux, Plone, Novell & Windows networking, LDAP, Domains, DNS, TCP/IP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Information Management: recording into and extracting from databases using SQL.
• Systems analysis and design; software development.
• Extensive breadth and depth of IT experience in a large organisation. Experience must cover both IT support (PCs, servers, databases, networks) and software development.

Desirable

• Application and reporting development using SQL Server/SSRS, Power BI, and other ODBC Databases
• Experience in VBA, ASP, SQL, and Windows script
• Knowledge of Content Management systems, the Microsoft Office suite/Excel, and Crystal Reports

Qualifications

Essential

• Degree or equivalent in an IT-related subject, or other numerate degree.

Desirable

• Formal qualifications that demonstrate continuing professional development, in particular: Windows server / SQL server management; Web development, Server Database development.
