Duties

• Help kids with everyday tasks, such as personal hygiene and regular organisation

• Encourage kids to engage in learning and leisure activities that are specific to their needs.

• Create and carry out customised care plans in conjunction with experts and families.

• When necessary, give kids transportation while maintaining safe driving techniques.

• Track and document kids’ development, conduct, and well-being

• Effectively communicate with kids, families, and team members to guarantee ongoing assistance.

• Ensure that children are always in a clean, safe, and inviting setting.

• Utilise IT technologies to interact with coworkers, manage schedules, and update records.

Requirements

• Must have worked in residential childcare for at least two years.

• Residential childcare LEVEL 3 and LEVEL 5 diploma credentials are required.

• It is also ideal to have prior experience working with children or in childcare settings.

• Having a current driver’s license and being able to drive safely are crucial.

• Excellent communication abilities to interact with kids, families, and coworkers

• It is beneficial to understand child growth and care strategies.

• IT literacy for communication tools and document management

• A kind disposition and outstanding organising abilities

• Capacity to operate adaptably in a cooperative team setting
