Description of the Job

For the duration of their selected rota pattern (e.g. 2, 4 or 6 weeks or On-going), live-in carers reside with a client. You will provide companionship and care for one person, or occasionally a couple. Assisting with everyday tasks, personal care, or managing illnesses like dementia, you will customise your support to fit your clients’ needs by adhering to a person-centred care plan.

Duties

• Based on your qualifications and the needs of your client, you will be paired with them to offer specialised companionship and support.
• In accordance with a client’s personalised care plan, you will typically give 8–10 hours of care each day on average.
• Taking care of illnesses including Parkinson’s, dementia, and stroke
• Transporting and managing
• Cleaning, cooking, and making sure the house runs smoothly

Particular Duties & Responsibilities

• Professional care experience obtained in any type of care environment, including live-in or domiciliary care, support work, care assistant, NHS healthcare assistant, or a comparable role. OR recent experience giving an adult friend or family member personal care, such as bathing, toileting, and washing
• You must be able to show us that you are legally permitted to work in the UK. (For instance, a British passport, settled or pre-settled status under the EU settlement program, or an active visa that permits you to work in the UK without any limitations). We regret that we will not be able to handle your application if you apply to work with us without one of these documents.
• We are presently only accepting applications from vaccinated, immediately available, or exempt carers due to rising demand.
• Although it is not necessary, having a driver’s license is advantageous. In order for you to occasionally take your customer out or shopping, the client supplies the vehicle and insurance.
  Being able to travel to your client placement requires flexibility.

Pay range: £21000–£32000
