As our IT Project Manager, you will be in charge of delivering high-value software and cybersecurity projects from start to finish. This includes our impending £200,000 contract and a possible £500,000 follow-up. This involves ensuring that projects stay on schedule, that budgets are kept in check, that risks are reduced, and that escalations are handled.

You will be in charge of hiring new developers by making a list of the best candidates, establishing job descriptions, interviewing them, and bringing them on board. You will also teach the staff how to do things the right way, check the quality of their work, meet deadlines, and keep good relationships with clients so they are happy.

A big part of the job is to promote the firm to get new business. This includes pitching our services, networking at industry events, getting leads from other sources (including internet platforms, collaborations, and referrals), and getting new contracts to help the company develop. You will have a lot of leadership duties, and you will have to put in a lot of effort to make the company’s operations more efficient and its finances stronger.

This involves doing everything that needs to be done to make processes better, fix problems before they happen, and help X Power Ltd. grow and stay in business. Basically, you’ll be my right-hand person, running the business when I can’t and making sure everything runs properly.

Location and Working Hours

Location and Hours: The company is situated in the UK (with an office in London) and has a 37.5-hour work week. Once you get used to it, you can work from home some of the time.

Requirements for the IT Project Manager job with UK visa sponsorship Role

• 5 or more years of experience delivering IT projects, including Agile/Scrum methods, software development, and cybersecurity.
• A proven track record as a recruiter, trainer, and business developer with the ability to bring in new projects from a variety of sources.
• Strong communicator, problem-solver, and leader who can handle a lot of responsibility and keep the organisation healthy.

We prefer people from the UK, but we are in the last stages of getting our Home Office Skilled Worker sponsor license. We are also happy to sponsor outstanding applicants from other countries under the Skilled Worker route (occupation code 2137 – IT project and program managers). As soon as the licence is awarded, which is likely to happen far before the April 2026 start date, successful applicants will get a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
