Salary/Rate: £13.25 to £26.50 per hour
Summary
Table of Contents
- Pay Rate: Day- £13.25, Evening- £13.40, Weekend £15.00, Overtime- £16.00, Mileage 45p per mile
- Guaranteed hour contracts
- Morning and lunch hours only – Hours available 5 to 25 pw. Start time 7am, finishing time around 2pm.
- Full-time hours also available, working hours from 7am to 22.30 with breaks in between
- Alternative weekend working pattern
- Plus an allowance towards car maintenance and MOT paid early for full-time staff
Duties
- Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Help with medication reminders and administration
- Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
