Facilities Cleaning Service Technician
- Midlands (headquartered in Tamworth, travels throughout the region)
- £28,000 to £36,000 a year, including overtime and chances to move up
- Permanent, full-time

- The professional operations team at CLEANSERV Facilities Management is growing.
- We need a dependable, hands-on person to join our team of mobile field technicians. Each day, they will visit different commercial and educational venues to provide specialised cleaning and facilities services.
- You will often go to sites on your own and talk directly to site managers, estates teams, and business owners on behalf of the organization. Because of this, experience is not the only thing that matters. Attitude, professionalism, and responsibility are just as important.

- This is a job that can be done throughout the day and at night.
What you’ll really be doing
Every day is different. Our mobile team does particular work that regular cleaning staff can’t do.
Some common works are:
- Cleaning windows for businesses (using reach and wash systems)
- Cleaning sidewalks, yards, entrances, and playgrounds using pressure washing
- Cleaning with steam and getting rid of chewing gum
- Cleaning carpets and upholstery by removing dirt
- Hygiene and deep cleaning
- Cleaning up after builders and shining
- Commercial cleaning inside when needed
- Putting up signs for safety and safe places to work
- Taking pictures before and after, and writing job reports
- You will be trusted to go to locations, talk to clients, do the work safely, and leave the place looking great.

Important Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to go to other places
- Being able to talk to people well
- Good work ethic and ability to keep time
Very desirable (although training is available)
- Experience cleaning windows
- Experience with pressure washing
- Experience cleaning carpets or floors
- Background in property maintenance or trade
- Experience with grounds upkeep or facilities
- IPAF / PASMA (training is available)
People from certain backgrounds usually do well:
maintenance workers, window cleaners, cleaners of the outside of buildings, grounds workers, trades assistants, property maintenance staff, people who have left the military, or people who work directly on construction projects.

Hours of Work
Most of the time, work is done during the day from Monday to Friday.
Depending on how easy it is to get to the place, some early beginnings may be needed.
There is work available on weekends and after hours, which pays extra.

A lot of our sites are schools and other places where privacy is important. You must pass an Enhanced DBS check and prove that you have the right to work before you can get a job.
