THE ROLE

To use play to prepare kids for the real world!

For our cosy and inviting nursery, Colourbox Nursery is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher. Those with suitable experience as nursery nurses, early childhood educators, and early childhood practitioners are encouraged to apply.

Those with Early Years Teacher Status have higher pay rates.

As a certified sponsor of skilled worker visas, we are able to provide sponsorship to eligible candidates who are already in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Create and finish activities according to the interests and developmental stage of the kids.

• Participate in the activities’ planning and assessment.

• Create a welcoming atmosphere for coworkers, kids, and guests.

• Protect the kids: everyone has a responsibility to protect the kids.

• Verify adherence to EYFS and safeguarding.

• Oversee curriculum delivery and day-to-day operations.

• Keep Ofsted’s standards high.

• Develop a solid rapport with the community and parents.

Requirements

• Early Childhood Teacher (L3, L6, QTS, EYTS-Essential Qualified)

• Seeking a fulfilling career and having a strong interest in child education

• A positive outlook

• 45 hours a week are available for work.

• DBS checks and appropriate references

• Strong familiarity with safeguarding and the EYFS

• Outstanding organising and communication abilities
