Job Summary

Cleaner (Part-Time – 15 Hours per Week)  Further Education College

Fixed-Term Contract – 3 Months

We are currently recruiting two reliable and dedicated Cleaners to join the facilities team at a busy and welcoming Further Education College.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and want to contribute to creating a safe, hygienic, and positive learning environment for students and staff.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 9:15am
• Friday: 6:00am – 9:00am
• Total: 15 hours per week

This early morning schedule is ideal for candidates seeking part-time work that fits around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas
• Maintaining washrooms to a high hygiene standard
• Emptying bins and replenishing consumables
• Ensuring cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
• Following health & safety procedures at all times

You will play a vital role in ensuring the college environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming each day.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Understanding of basic health and safety procedures

An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or issued within the last 3 months is essential for this role.

Contract Details:

• 15 hours per week
• Fixed-term contract for 3 months
• Immediate start available
