We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant in Skipton and the surrounding North Yorkshire area, ideally with experience in a primary school setting. The successful candidate would have

• Ideally, possess experience in a primary setting
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the English language, both written and spoken
•  Strong communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and inspiring learning atmosphere
• Work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure that each student receives the support they need.
• Help teachers deliver engaging lessons while promoting and supporting positive behaviour in the classroom.
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance, ensuring they feel understood and supported.
• Lead learning activities when required
