We have a NEW and exciting development opportunity for a Pharmacy Support Worker in Stores to take on an essential role supporting the Pharmacy team. The primary responsibilities involve managing stock, ensuring inventory is well maintained, and assisting in the distribution of pharmaceutical products to support day-to-day Pharmacy operations.
This post is for 30 hours per week
Main duties of the job
- To work in the Pharmacy Stores and Distribution areas.
- To accurately receive orders of pharmaceuticals, store them correctly, and supply them against requisitions from Wards and Departments.
- To take part in the Medicines Management ward stock topping-up service.
- To replenish stock in the Omnicell units
- Stock control and expiry date checking.
- To contribute to the weekend and Bank Holiday rota.
