Job Summary

We need dependable and skilled drivers to join our team. The person who gets the job will be in charge of safely and efficiently moving products and supplies along set routes and making sure that deliveries are made on schedule. To do this job well, you need to be a great driver, know a lot about mechanics, and be able to communicate well with both clients and coworkers. The Driver will be very important in keeping our company’s good name by being on time and providing great service.

Duties

• Safely drive a variety of vehicles, such as flatbed trucks, to make deliveries
• Plan and follow the best routes to make sure that deliveries are made on time to many places.
• Load and unload things, making sure that they are safe while they are being moved.
• Check and maintain vehicles on a regular basis to make sure they meet safety regulations.
• Talk to dispatchers, warehouse workers, and clients clearly about delivery times and any problems that come up.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
• During operations, you must strictly follow all traffic laws and corporate rules.

Skills

• Experience driving and delivering goods for businesses
• Good driving skills and a clean driving record
• Understanding of mechanical systems that are important for fixing and maintaining vehicles
• Experience driving flatbed trucks or other big transportation equipment
• Excellent communication abilities to clearly talk to team members and clients
• Having worked in a warehouse before can help you understand how to load things.
• It is better if you are familiar with driver requirements or certificates.
• Ability to manage time well and operate alone with little supervision
