Working together with multidisciplinary teams from spacecraft systems, GNC, and avionics, you will assume responsibility for important facets of flight software design, definition, integration, and validation.

Important Duties: Software Engineer

Create, implement, and verify real-time embedded flight software for computers on board satellites.

Describe development and verification plans, ICDs, and software architecture.

To determine software needs and provide solutions, work together with systems and subsystem teams.

Carry out integration, validation, and verification tasks both in simulation and on target.

Encourage campaigns for simulation and mission testing.

Participate in ongoing development and information exchange among projects and international teams.
Essential Knowledge & Experience
-
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related engineering field.

Demonstrated expertise in creating C/C++ software for real-time embedded devices.

Solid knowledge of real-time operating systems, such as RTEMS and VxWorks.

Experience using ICDs and equipment drivers.

Competent with contemporary software development methods and Git version control.

Knowledge of creating and carrying out test strategies and troubleshooting software in both simulated and real-world scenarios.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to operate independently with little guidance.
