Qualifications

Essential

• Full GMC Registration (with licence to practice).
• CCT Specialist Registration will be obtained within 6 months of the interview date. CESR.
• Minimum of English Level 2 (GCSE grade C or equivalent), IELTS, or a graduate of a UK Medical School.

Desirable

• Distinctions, scholarships, prizes.
• Other degrees, e.g. BSc, MSc, MD.
• At least five years in a specialist registrar training scheme.

Clinical Experience

Essential

• Ability to offer expert clinical and diagnostic opinion on a range of problems.
• Ability to take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients.
• Ability to prioritise clinical need.
• Ability to supervise multi-disciplinary teams.
• Evidence of experience appropriate to the stated specialist interest.
