We are looking for a new Early Childhood Teacher to work full-time at our Sale, Victoria center. As an active leader on the team, your job will be to provide a safe and exciting environment that meets the needs of our children. You are responsible for encouraging people to get involved in making decisions about the curriculum, in keeping with our standards, policies, and curriculum. We really want to invest in our personnel. We will give you the tools, training, and help you need to do your new job. Duties and Tasks (Early Childhood Teacher Jobs Australia)

• Bringing the Journey Values of relationships. communication and thoughtfulness in life, and show this in your daily lives.
• Ability to follow Journey’s rules and kid safety policy
• Planning and organising learning in both indoor and outdoor settings, utilising a range of resources and tools to help kids grow and learn.
• Giving kids a lot of different experiences and activities helps them improve their motor abilities, social skills, confidence, and understanding
• Encouraging language growth through storytelling, role play, songs, rhymes, and casual conversations with kids alone and in groups
• Watching kids to see how they’re doing and to look for indicators of illness, emotional problems, and other difficulties
• Watching the nutritional  health, safety, and welfare needs of kids and figuring out what might be getting in the way of their progress
• Talking and having open interactions with parents to help their kids grow.
• Going to parent interviews, center meetings, and events
• Taking part in family and community support initiatives when they are needed
• Overseeing student instructors when they are on placement

Qualifications and Experience

• Formal qualifications are desired, and you should have at least two years of relevant job experience.
• You may need to labour for a few more years if you don’t have official qualifications.
