We are looking for caring and dedicated Care Support Workers to work with us in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole. As a carer, you will aid people in care facilities or at home with their daily tasks and help carry out their personalised care plans. You need to be able to communicate well and care about others. A driver’s license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help people live on their own in their own homes or in places where they get help.
• Help with everyday duties, including cooking, cleaning, buying, making a budget, and going to appointments.
• Encourage and support independence, choice, and personal growth.
• Help people get to the neighbourhood, school, work, or social events.
• Be there for them emotionally and develop good, professional relationships.
• Follow and put into action each person’s support plan and risk assessment.
• Keep accurate records and talk to the rest of the support team and outside professionals in a clear way.
• Always promote health and safety, well-being, and safety.

Experience

• It would be helpful, but not necessary, if you have worked in support work, social care, supported living, or a related field before.
• It would be helpful to have a thorough understanding of person-centred support.
• It’s crucial to be able to communicate well and get along with others.
• You need to be kind, dependable, and proactive.
• Knowing how to use care management systems is helpful.
• You need to be able to speak English well to talk to clients and coworkers.
• It would be better if you had a driver’s license, but it’s not necessary.
• Must be able to work in the UK.
