A care assistant’s duties include providing companionship and emotional support, as well as important personal care and health monitoring. Please keep in mind that the hourly rate is open to negotiation and depends on experience.

Stratton Court Care Home offers a lot of different training to assist you go up in your care career, whether you’re new to it or have been doing it for a while. Some of the benefits are free parking on site, cheap lunches, working in a magnificent care home, staff social activities, and more.

Responsibilities of the Job

• Help with getting in and out of bed, washing, bathing, dressing, and going to the toilet are all parts of personal care.
• Helping with and giving out medicine, as long as the person is trained to do so.
• Keeping accurate and complete records while making sure that both staff and patients’ privacy is protected.
• Keeping up good communication at home is a key aspect of how we provide the best treatment possible.
• To be able to talk to family, friends, and professionals with confidence, putting the resident’s needs first.
• Being able to work with others and on your own.
• To represent the home.

What you need

• First and foremost, you need to be a kind, polite, and patient person who wants to help others.
• Experience is a plus, but not required.

To stay up to speed on and obey the rules in the Home’s Policies and Procedures file that apply to your employment and its duties. Care Support is in charge of asking enquiries and pointing out any areas where you think you could be lacking in skills, knowledge, or competence. Aura Care Living promises to help you during this process.
