Essential

• Healthcare Science related Vocational Qualification Level 3 or equivalent level OR 3 A-levels grade A-C, including a science subject

Desirable

• ARTP Part I or ARTP Associate Practitioner Qualification
• BSc in science science-related qualification in human physiology
• BSc in science, science-related qualification, or a similar undergraduate degree

Experience

Essential

• Experience of working in a service-level industry
• Previous experience of working with the general public
• Experience in undertaking scientific measurements to documented quality standards

Desirable

• Experience in a pulmonary function department
• Experience of working with patients in healthcare

Knowledge

Essential

• A demonstrable sound understanding of scientific principles
• Evidence of a science-related project

Desirable

• Good standard of respiratory physiology knowledge
• Knowledge of lung function guidelines

Skills

Essential

• Demonstrable excellent communication skills in different situations
• Demonstrable computer skills
