Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, innovative Applications Team Lead with extensive experience of configuring and developing clinical systems in a healthcare setting and strong leadership skills to join our team.
The post holder will be leading on the maintenance and development of the Trust’s community Electronic Patient Record, so would ideally have experience configuring TPP SystmOne.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day line management and performance of the Application Analysts within the community workstream of the Enterprise and Clinical Applications Team, leading on the day-to-day running of the system, as well as analysing and interpreting current clinical workflows and designing solutions utilising the clinical system’s advanced functionality.
Please note: this role is office-based at the Clinical Sciences Building (Salford Royal Hospital) with occasional requirements to visit the main hospitals or community sites.
Main duties of the job
This is a key role in configuring the Trust’s clinical applications. The emphasis will be to take a creative and visionary approach to the design and build of the clinical application, using core configuration tools (SQL, C#, or SSRS skills are not required).
An important aspect of the role involves analyzing and interpreting current workflows and practices, working in partnership with clinical services. You will be self-directed, tenacious, yet able to work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team with a flexible approach.
